About Us

The Community Therapists Network is a national organisation providing information, training and education to a network of therapists working within rehabilitation and intermediate care settings and who work across education, health, mental health and social care (local government). They provide care and support for people living with long-term conditions.

The Community Therapists Network believes that coordinated action can be far more effective than the sum of the action from the individual people or organisations. Therefore, we actively encourage professionals working in all aspects of community therapy to collaborate and share knowledge, enthusiasm and best practice to stimulate advances in the care of people with long-term conditions in community and primary care.

The Community Therapists Network is a unique organisation comprised of a wide range of professionals including but not limited to:

Occupational Therapists

Rehabilitation Assistants

Nurses (community psychiatric nurses, reablement nurses)

Dietitians and Nutritional Therapists

Speech and Language Therapists

Social Workers
